At 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey will hold a media briefing at Hoboken Terminal to detail the upcoming PATH Hoboken station closure beginning at 11:59 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, and lasting through 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24.
The closure, first announced in October 2024, will allow for critical repairs across track and switch infrastructure while also enabling extensive station renovation work. A wide array of travel alternatives will be available, including free shuttle buses, cross-honored ferry service, supplemental NJ TRANSIT 126 bus service to the Midtown Bus Terminal, and supplemental Hudson-Bergen Light Rail service. NJ TRANSIT and NY Waterway service at Hoboken Terminal will continue operating.
