Phillips Industries has named Tom Peterson to the position of senior mechanical design engineer.

In his new role, Peterson will be responsible for designing and developing innovative product solutions for the commercial vehicle industry.  He will report directly to Rob Myers, president of the Phillips Aftermarket Business Unit.

“Phillips Industries has a long history of answering industry challenges with the right products to solve them,” commented Myers in announcing Peterson’s new position.  “Tom has the relevant experience, and more importantly, the right attitude to continue this work.  We are pleased to add him to our organization.”

Peterson originally joined Phillips Industries in June 2006 as a design engineer.  In 2018 he accepted the position of mechanical systems engineer working at Phillips Connect.  Peterson attended Citrus College and lives in Glendora, CA, with his wife and two children.  His interests include outdoor activities, cooking, travel and music.
