Copeland, a global provider of sustainable climate solutions, today announced the release of its new GO real-time 4G/5G-NA tracker for shipping products within the cold chain. This next-generation alkaline product leverages Wi-Fi and 4G/5G cellular technology to deliver real-time data for customers shipping high-value products.
GO real-time 4G/5G-NA trackers can monitor in-transit conditions such as temperature within 15 meters (49.2 feet) of positioning accuracy for up to 20 days.
“Improvements to location accuracy drive enhanced insight to shipments,” said Amy Childress, global vice-president of monitoring, cold chain, for Copeland. “Whether customers are transporting food, healthcare items or other valuable cargo, our technology enables our customers’ shipments to be delivered at the highest possible quality.”

Oversight, the cloud-based online software platform from Copeland, enables trackers to be configured to notify users in real-time via text or email if any deviation of temperature-sensitive conditions arise during shipment. Automated reporting is generated through the Oversight dashboard and Oversight mobile app, from where users can receive real-time alerts via text and email. Users can view current maps, graphs and charts of key shipments, including temperature, security and location details. Shipment summary reports include additional details such as device serial number, tip name and duration, mean kinetic temperature, and time above or below range.
With multiple battery options available, Copeland helps customers meet their goals to increase shipment safety and reduce the number of devices that end up in landfills by using the company’s improved GO GreenSense™ recycling program. Copeland provides customers with eco-friendly return boxes, pre-paid postage labels and any required battery shipment notification labels. Users can return any Copeland GO tracker products for proper battery and component recycling.
