Container Maintenance Corporation-ITI Intermodal hires John Mizerek to lead CMC Logistics

Effective immediately, John Mizerek joins Container Maintenance Corporation-ITI Intermodal (CMC-ITI) as Executive Vice President, CMC Logistics (CMCL), a full-service trucking company offering drayage and trucking services to ocean carriers, cargo owners, and leasing companies.

“John brings to this role more than 30 years of industry experience with a strong focus on equipment leasing. We are confident his insight and expertise will help us expand and evolve the CMC Logistics business as we look to the future and plan for consistent growth,” said Vince Marino, CEO, of CMC-ITI.

An industry veteran with more than three decades of experience, Mr. Mizerek most recently held the position of Executive Vice President at Contract Leasing Corp, a trailer leasing and services company.

During his three years with CLC, Mr. Mizerek created the company’s intermodal chassis leasing division where they remain a competitive and reliable IEP throughout the US.

Prior to CLC, Mr. Mizerek was the Vice President of Sales at Flexi-Van Leasing from 2010-2020. He began his career with Bridge Terminal Transport (a division of Maersk Inc.) in 1991 and held senior management positions in both operations and sales throughout his nearly 20-year tenure.

Mr. Mizerek is a graduate of IMD's Professional Executive Development and Columbia University's General Management Programs. He and his son Lorenzo reside in Westfield, NJ.
