Chapman Freeborn Europe launches dedicated aerospace product for time-critical supply chain support

Chapman Freeborn has launched a dedicated aerospace product, bringing together its specialist air charter, time-critical and aerospace logistics expertise into one structured offering for freight forwarders and logistics providers.

Developed in response to continued pressure across aerospace supply chains, the product provides customers with access to Full Charter, Part-Charter, Next Flight Out (NFO) and On-Board Courier (OBC) solutions, supported by dedicated aerospace personnel.

The offering also includes a dedicated 24/7/365 AOG desk, providing rapid response support for urgent aircraft-on-ground requirements and other time-critical aerospace shipments. It is designed to support a wide range of needs, from smaller urgent components moving via OBC or NFO, to larger or more complex shipments requiring dedicated charter capacity, including aircraft parts, engines, tooling and other outsize cargo.

“The launch of our dedicated aerospace product reflects Chapman Freeborn continued focus on specialist solutions for sectors where reliability, compliance and speed are essential. By combining our charter expertise, time-critical capabilities and aerospace-specific processes, we are creating a more structured offering that supports customers facing increasingly complex supply chain challenges,” said James Gilliard Vice President Cargo Sales Europe

The product is aimed at the freight forwarding and logistics community, with Chapman Freeborn acting as an extension of its customers’ own services. It is also supported by an internal group system designed to identify spare capacity on existing charter flights, helping provide competitive rates and routing options to destinations that may be underserved by regular cargo lines.

Chapman Freeborn’s recent JOSCAR certification further strengthens the launch. The Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register is a recognized accreditation system for suppliers operating in the aerospace, defense and security sectors, reinforcing Chapman Freeborn’s compliance credentials and ability to support customers working in complex, regulated and security-sensitive environments.

“Aerospace logistics often comes down to speed, precision and reliability. A delayed component can quickly affect aircraft availability, maintenance schedules or production timelines, so customers need access to the right air solution without delay. This dedicated product has been developed to support freight forwarders and logistics providers with specialist expertise, clear processes and rapid response,” said Ben Cupidi, Aerospace Manager – Europe at Chapman Freeborn.

As part of Avia Solutions Group, Chapman Freeborn can also draw on wider aviation expertise across the group, including ACMI, MRO, pilot training, ground handling and other specialist aviation services.
