Carrier Transicold’s Lynx Fleet Platform enhances monitoring of refrigerated fleets for Evergreen Marine Corp.

Jun 03, 2024

As one of the world’s leading shipping lines, Evergreen Marine Corp. is enhancing its operations by deploying Carrier Transicold’s Lynx™ Fleet solution onto 7,000 of its 40-foot high cube refrigerated containers. Carrier Transicold is a part of Carrier Global Corporation, global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.

Lynx Fleet monitors connected refrigeration systems from anywhere in the world, providing vital information through a centralized data stream and improved visibility for shipping lines, fleet owners, service technicians and ship crew on the cargo being transported.

“Lynx Fleet offers key features that ensure the cargo reaches its destination safely with notifications and alarms that are managed by exception,” said Leow Eng Meng, Container Sales, Asia-Pacific, Global Container Refrigeration, Carrier Transicold. “This means the system can alert fleet managers of critical alarms, giving them a global perspective and allowing them to analyze and act accordingly with timely data-driven decision making,”

Lynx Fleet will be installed with the latest features, including Reefer Health, which comprises Carrier’s proprietary technology to monitor near-live reefer unit performance as well as up to a 72-hour forecast, providing added visibility on location, movement and temperature of individual containers. This feature will allow fleet managers to download diagnostic information about their equipment, giving them added insights into the health of their reefers by reporting anomalies along with possible causes and potential measures to resolve. Lynx Fleet also offers API feeds to communicate with third-party platforms and user interfaces.

In addition to providing innovative digital solutions, Carrier Transicold also offers service training to its customers, providing Lynx Fleet training updates and refrigeration unit operation programs in connection with other specialized training.
