Zebox and GTT announce their partnership

This partnership will drive GreenTech innovation projects and answer maritime transportations challenges.

Zebox, the international incubator and accelerator of startups, committed to fostering the synergy of talents and the emergence of technological innovations, announced last November its focus on energy and the strengthening of its GreenTech approach. GTT (Gaztransport & Technigaz), an engineering company specialized in the transportation and storage of LNG (liquefied natural gas), joins Zebox’ ecosystem to strengthen this new approach.

With Zebox, GTT will be able to exchange and be inspired by innovative projects imagined by startups in order to broaden its scope of action on decarbonization, explore new technologies and keep up with market developments and new trends.

“At Zebox, we strongly believe in the power of relationships between big companies and startups. This is why we are developing tight relationships with corporate partners who are leaders in their field” underlines Zebox’ CEO Matthieu Somekh. “Energy plays a central role in transportation, mobility and Industry 4.0, this is why we have chosen to make a specific focus on innovation and speed GreenTech innovation. GTT is way ahead on these issues and we are proud to have them as partner on our side. Our startups offer high innovations possibilities that will allow GTT to lead 4.0 maritime transportation.”

“We are thrilled to partner with Zebox. New innovation opportunities will arise and will help us meet the current challenges of maritime transportation: digital transformation and the solutions for reducing environmental impact of this sector.” underlines Philippe Berterottière, GTT Chairman and CEO.
