Valenciaport continues its promotional activity in the main world logistics and port events

Oct 08, 2020

Valenciaport's commercial and promotional activity has continued to adapt to the circumstances imposed by the Covid-19

Valenciaport continues its promotional activity in the main world events of the logistics, port and tourism sector to present the new products and services of the Valencian ports to its clients and clients. Since the beginning of the year, the commercial activity of the Valencian Port Authority (PAV) has been present at the most important national and world events related to port activity, a line of work that has been maintained with the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic which has modified many of these events to a virtual format.

The APV has adapted its promotional and marketing tools to the virtual format for each of the telematic events, which has been combined with attendance at the trade fairs that have been held, such as the China International Logistics and Supply Chain Fair (CILF), the main Asian professional exchange event for companies in the logistics and transport sector. At CILF, the PAV had its own stand to showcase Valenciaport as a gateway to the Spanish and European markets due to its high level of connectivity and its geostrategic location in the Mediterranean for commercial activity between Asia and Europe. This physical presence at CILF has been combined with online attention and webinars.

Adaptation to digital events

At the same time, Valenciaport is present at the main strategic events to promote the services, new products and infrastructures of the port and its community, continuing its commercial work and thus adapting to the changes that these events, which are mostly taking place virtually, have made. To this end, the PAV has adapted its marketing and promotional tools to this virtual world according to each event. This is why presentations and ad hoc digital contents are being made for events and interlocutors interested in the Valencian ports.

In addition, Valenciaport maintains direct activity between the PAV managers and clients, association and other ports through a virtual service tailored to each prescriber. In this line, the presence in strategic digital forums for Valenciaport has been increased.

Intense promotional agenda

This week, Valenciaport is carrying out important commercial work with its participation in the Seatrade Cruise Virtual with a virtual stand, an online forum that brings together the cruise community and which makes it possible to generate contacts, investigate the latest developments in the sector and find out about the main novelties in the sector.  Valenciaport, as one of the main ports in the world for export/import activity in the agri-food sector, is also part of the first telepresence edition of Fruit Attraction which brings together the entire world fruit and vegetable community.

The PAV is also present at the BNew (Barcelona New Economy Week) which this year has a series of conferences on the challenges and opportunities of the logistics sector, and at the annual meeting held by the European Petrochemical Association (EPCA), Europe's main business network for the world petrochemical community which brings together over 700 companies and institutions from 50 countries.
