Unilode Aviation Solutions enters strategic ULD management partnership with Vietjet Air

Unilode Aviation Solutions, the global leader in Unit Load Device (ULD) management and digital services, has announced a strategic partnership with Vietjet Air (Vietjet), Vietnam's dynamic carrier with a rapidly expanding network across Asia-Pacific and beyond.

Unilode now provides a fully integrated ULD management solution, supporting Vietjet’s continued growth through enhanced operational efficiency, digital visibility, and access to the world's largest ULD network.

Through this partnership, Vietjet will benefit from Unilode's extensive global ULD pooling network, ensuring the right equipment is available at the right location and time, reducing asset imbalances while optimising utilisation and cost efficiency across its expanding operation.

Unilode will also provide 24/7 ULD management alongside comprehensive Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services through its global network of certified repair stations. By repairing ULDs closer to where damage occurs, the partnership reduces unnecessary repositioning, minimises carbon emissions, and supports more sustainable airline operations while maximising aircraft payload availability.

As part of the agreement, Vietjet will leverage Unilode's suite of digital solutions, including its Customer Portal, eULD mobile application, and real-time tracking capabilities. These tools provide enhanced visibility of ULD assets, actionable operational insights, and streamlined workflows, enabling faster decision-making and improved ground handling performance.

Mohammed Akhlaq, Chief Commercial Officer, Unilode Aviation Solutions, added: "We are proud to partner with Vietjet as they continue their impressive growth journey. By combining our global ULD network, advanced digital solutions, and extensive MRO capabilities, we will help deliver greater operational efficiency, enhanced asset visibility, and more sustainable ULD management solutions, ensuring Vietjet is well-positioned for continued success."
