TMSfirst has implemented CHAMP’s Traxon Premium Tracking. The United States-based transport management system provider has integrated the service for its customers.
Traxon Premium Tracking allows the user to register interest in a shipment and receive automatic status updates through its lifecycle. Premium Tracking enables high visibility with a single data sharing point for all parties involved in an air waybill shipment, reducing the overhead of bilateral tracking. TMSfirst has used CHAMP’s Application Programming Interface (API) to subscribe to air waybills for tracking, leaving CHAMP to take care of all the connectivity and information conversion details.
“As a TMS supplier for customers across the supply chain – tracking is an integral part of gaining new business,” says Tim Sensenig, CEO at TMSfirst. “Our customers expect the kind of stability and structure of Traxon Premium Tracking for TMSfirst to deliver visibility, pro-active alerts and freight lane analytics. We look forward to seeing the long-term results.”
“CHAMP is delighted to extend Traxon Premium Tracking to TMSfirst and its customers,” says Gerard Winter, Sales Manager at CHAMP Cargosystems. “We can see that CHAMP is bringing more value across all members and players across the air cargo supply chain.”
