MSC CGS Cancelled for USA WC, EC & Gulf to Far East Ports

Reefer Containers Emergency Congestion Surcharge - CGS - CANCELLED

MSC is filing a Reefer Containers Emergency Congestion Surcharge (CGS) effective March 19th, 2020 for all export cargo originating from USA & Puerto Rico to Far East as follows:

Effective March 19th, 2020:

  • USD 1000 per 20’ RE, 40' HR/RE for US West Coast, US East Coast (including Gulf), IPI Cargo and Puerto Rico cargo to Asia. 

 Above does not apply to dry cargo.
