Megalift delivers tanks to Petronas refinery in Kerteh

Aug 16, 2023

The company was appointed to handle the transportation of two over-height tanks from their fabrication yard to Petronas' refinery in Kerteh, Terengganu.

Although the distance traveled was not too great, trudging through suburban areas with narrow roads proved to be quite a challenge.

Due to the height of the cargo, Megalift had to obtain approvals from various authorities to execute the job. Many of the hanging cables had to be removed or temporarily elevated.

Additionally, Megalift submitted applications to the Public Works Department for permission to remove and reinstate three traffic light posts; as well as adjustments to the barriers, fencing, and guardrails to make way for their transport.
