The Canadian based Project Freight Forwarding team of experts at Ambercor Shipping, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Canada, took part in an urgent air charter operation for a shipment out of Calgary Airport (YYC).
The team expertly coordinated the pickup and delivery of compressor and cooler packages within two days up to Calgary International Airport for loading into a chartered plane to Toowoomba Australia.
With the Ambercor project team being air side at YYC to oversee the loading of the B747 Freighter, it was quite the spectacle as a charter plane of that size and magnitude is quite rare in this area of Canada thus bringing out the aircraft enthusiasts around Calgary.
The shipment consisted of the following:
2 x Main skids – 9.5m x 2.53m x 2.256m (LWH) @ 14,515KG each
2 x Coolers – 4.25m x 2.31m x 2.394m (LWH) @ 3,810KG each
1 x Pressure vessel – 3.09m x 2.064m x 1.473m (LWH) @ 1,315KG each
1 x Pressure vessel – 4.47m x 1.66m x 1.523m (LWH) @ 2,222KG each
1 x Crate – 5.4m x 2.438m x 2.29m (LWH) @ 5,897KG each
Ambercor Shipping would like to extend their heartfelt Thank You to all our partners in Canada and Australia for their dedication and collaboration.
