JLL announced that it has named Managing Director Nina Harlow Head of its Energy & Logistics business within the Industrials division. Harlow will lead interdisciplinary teams delivering workplace management and optimization, occupancy management and strategic real estate solutions for JLL’s energy and logistics clients.
In her new role, she will work closely with JLL’s commercial, technical and account management teams to build and manage safe, sustainable and reliable workplace environments for clients that maximize productivity and prioritize wellbeing.
“Nina’s appointment strengthens our ability to support our clients across oil and gas, utilities, rail and third-party logistics sectors in navigating the complex intersection of workplace operations and infrastructure demands,” said Meaghan Elwell, Global President of JLL’s Industrials Division. “Her extensive network, exceptional leadership capabilities, existing client relationships and established expertise in this space position her perfectly for success in this dynamic and rapidly evolving business.”
Harlow’s impressive career includes 18 years of leadership experience at JLL, where she has served in a variety of senior roles across a wide range of high-profile accounts. Most recently, she was JLL’s Industrials Workplace Management lead and connected with clients and colleagues to tackle complex problems and build resilience. Her deep expertise includes account management, facilities management and workplace strategy. She also has a proven track record of connecting services and business lines to deliver cohesive end-to-end innovative solutions for clients.
The promotion comes at a critical time for the energy sector, which faces unprecedented infrastructure demands driven by advanced technology expansion. JLL’s 2026 Energy and Utilities Trends to Watch analysis details how regional capital expenditures reflect this surge. The Southwest region alone saw a staggering 112% increase in capital expenditure from 2020 to 2024, compared to just 15% growth in the previous five years. These critical infrastructure investments are driving energy companies to explore real estate modernization strategies and optimize their portfolios to fund necessary upgrades.
“I’m thrilled to leverage my nearly two decades of industry insights and client experience to drive optimal performance across our Industrials accounts,” Harlow said. “I’m looking forward to solving many of our client's challenges using the perspectives I’ve gained through various verticals and global geographies.”
Harlow is based in Chicago and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has completed the LEAD course with Women Unlimited, Inc. and is certified in Change Management from the HAAS School of Business at UC Berkeley.
