Gross receives Intermodal’s highest honor  

The Intermodal Association of North America has announced that Larry Gross, President and Founder of Gross Transportation Consulting, will be honored with the 2024 Silver Kingpin Award during this year’s Intermodal EXPO, Sept. 9-11, in Long Beach, California.

Gross is a veteran of the freight transportation sector with more than forty years’ experience. He is president of Gross Transportation Consulting, writes the monthly “Land Lines” column in the Journal of Commerce, and authors “Intermodal in Depth,” an analytical report covering the intermodal sector. His years as an industry consultant and observer were preceded by executive positions in intermodal equipment development and sales, including 27 years at Wabash National where he headed up all aspects of the RoadRailer intermodal product line.
