Freight tech takes the stage: TIA unveils 2025 Shark Tank lineup at Technovations

Jul 02, 2025

The Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) today announced the official lineup of presenting companies for the highly anticipated Shark Tank session at its 2025 Technovations Conference, taking place November 5–7 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix, Arizona.

Now in its third year, the Shark Tank showcase spotlights bold new solutions transforming the 3PL space. Four innovative startups will pitch their freight tech solutions to a panel of expert judges—and a packed audience of logistics leaders—competing for recognition as an industry game-changer.

“We’re thrilled to host the Shark Tank session at this year’s Technovations, where some of the most innovative companies in freight tech are stepping into the spotlight,” said Chris Burroughs, TIA President & CEO. “This platform is all about bold ideas and breakthrough solutions that can shape the future of our industry.”

This year’s presenting companies include:

  • Sola – An AI-native robotic process automation (RPA) platform that eliminates manual work with screen-navigating bots that are easy to train and deploy.
  • Transfix – A contract pricing and RFP workflow tool that automates bid generation and forecasting, empowering brokers with real-time insights and win-rate optimization.
  • Fleetworks.ai – A dispatch automation platform that’s already handled over 6 million conversations. Its AI-powered dispatcher connects carriers and brokers via integrated TMS and Microsoft Teams.
  • Pallet – A hybrid AI workforce that automates manual workflows like quoting, data entry, and ASN submission with human-level accuracy—offering 10x speed at half the cost. Backed by $50M in funding, including investments from General Catalyst and Bessemer Venture Partners.

“The freight-tech scene is buzzing with innovation right now, and at TIA Technovations, our Shark Tank is going to be a huge highlight,” said Brian Roy, Vice Chair, TIA Technology Committee. “This is your exclusive chance to get an early look at the next big players before they take off.”

In addition to the Shark Tank session, the winner of the Technovator of the Year Award will be announced, honoring a logistics leader who’s driving meaningful change through the smart, strategic use of technology.

“I can’t wait to share with everyone what TIA’s Technology Committee has put together for this year’s Technovations,” said Ryan Ziemba, Chair, TIA Technology Committee. “If you’re a leader at your company, Technovations is a must. Challenging times call for new ideas—come join the conversation.”
