Express Global Logistics (EXG) Project Team starts 2020 with a boom and completed a significant break-bulk shipment of Exhaust Silencers from Mumbai for Cambodia.
EXG’s scope was chartering a break-bulk vessel with port handling in co-ordination with the shipper and clearing agent for 12 BG Silencers, each ODC and heavy lift in nature, along with 50 SOC’s containers.
The work began with the physical inspection of the cargo, loading and all handling at port. All the Exhaust Silencers got loaded onto a chartered break-bulk vessel.
The challenge was to adhere to the strict time lines in regards to the spot chartered vessel, booked on 5th January 2020 and cargo loading was to start on 8th January 2020 because of the laycan of the vessel. EXG made this unbelievable timelines happen due to its commitment to its customer and cooperation agents.
Another challenge was to keep loading the shipment during odd hours as the extensive cargo operationgot extended for 2 nights due to ongoing dredging at the port.
EXG is proud to have swiftly handled this project and maintain utmost safety and accomplish a great deal of work with efficiency.
