BUILDINX to bring industry giants and start-ups together

May 28, 2024

INNOVATIONS FOR LOGISTICS PROPERTIES will be held at Messe Dortmund Exhibition Centre between 19 and 21 November 2024 and is set to be a superb buyer-meets-seller forum, bringing together start-ups and big players in the logistics and industrial real estate world with a line-up of event content that will include the Founders Fight and the Innovation Gym. BUILDINX is the first trade show of its kind to focus on the entire value chain associated with innovative logistics and industrial real estate. This forum for innovation and networking also offers people the unique benefit of coming into direct contact with decision-makers and experts in the fields of real estate, financing, technology, new-build construction, refurbishment, manufacturing and production, logistics and trade channels.

Dortmund, 28 May 2024 – BUILDINX is aiming to secure particular interest among visitors with innovative event content such as the Founders Fights where start-ups will compete head-to-head, exercising their pitch rhetoric in – you've guessed it – a boxing ring, pitching their respective business models to a panel of expert judges and trying to convince them of the merits of their product or service within a short period of time as well as responding to critical questions to the best of their ability. The winner of each round will be chosen by those in the auditorium. Representatives from the big players in the industry will also be listening attentively with an eye to seeking dialogue with interesting young entrepreneurs and initiating joint projects. The Innovation Gym is set to contribute a host of other fresh ideas, with start-ups and established businesses coming together in a workshop area throughout the duration of the show in interactive 'workouts' of around 45 minutes each, consisting of an expert keynote and a group exercise.

The young businesses at BUILDINX will include people like software specialists node.energy from the German city of Frankfurt. Managing Director Michael Blichmann explains: “We enable commercial property owners to implement their solar power business models for maximum profitability. Our SaaS platform supports comprehensive planning, implementation and operation of on-site PPAs right through to full supply of 100% green electricity coming straight from wind and solar power systems. We look forward to raising awareness of our innovative solutions in the world of logistics real estate at BUILDINX.”

TRILUX is another big name that has also confirmed it will be exhibiting at BUILDINX. The manufacturer from the very west of Germany specialising in professional LED lighting and bespoke lighting solutions has around 5,000 employees worldwide and is committed to sustainability. Michael Blum, Managing Director of TRILUX Vertrieb GmbH, explains: “The market is demanding solutions that meet increased demand for quality, sustainability and design, but are also easy and safe to use. They must simplify planning and also be flexible enough to adapt to future challenges. With our innovations, we provide exactly the right answers – and we'll be presenting them in the right light at BUILDINX.”
