ATS invests in Platform Science Technology to empower drivers and advance fleet innovation

Oct 15, 2025

Anderson Trucking Service, Inc. (ATS), a leader in the transportation and logistics industry celebrating its 70th anniversary, today announced a new agreement with Platform Science, a leading connected vehicle platform, to enhance driver experience, safety, and fleet efficiency. The transition represents a significant investment in reliable, driver-focused technology that supports ATS’s mission to help drivers succeed while continuing its legacy of innovation and operational excellence.

“The driver is always first with us,” said Ben Delong, Vice President of Technology at ATS. “ATS has never delivered a load without a driver — and we’re proud to deliver technology that supports them every mile. Partnering with Platform Science allows us to build on the solid foundation we’ve had and take the next step in reliability and innovation. Our drivers are excited about this evolution, and we’re proud to invest in technology that enhances their experience and helps us deliver even greater service to our customers.”

“I’ve been with ATS for 10 years now, leading maintenance activities across our shops and over-the-road operations,” said Rich Asmus, Vice President of Maintenance at ATS. “We evaluated 13 vendors before selecting Platform Science, and it quickly became clear they shared our commitment to performance and reliability. There’s tremendous excitement about the visibility and data the platform provides — improving fleet operations, safety, compliance, and maintenance. I’m thrilled to be a partner with Platform Science as we move into this next chapter.”

The move to Platform Science is part of ATS’s broader commitment to innovation and continuous improvement. The platform’s flexibility and data-driven tools strengthen ATS’s ability to support drivers, improve fleet visibility, and deliver exceptional service to customers nationwide.
