XLP members, SaCeMa Nordic Projects and Freight Traders deliver heavy lift cargo from Sweden to New Zealand

SaCeMa Nordic Projects, a proud member of the XLProjects Network (XLP), has successfully completed the transport of two heavy lift shipments from Sweden to New Zealand in close cooperation with fellow XLP member, Freight Traders. The operation, involving two separate vessels, was executed earlier this year with precision planning and seamless coordination across continents.

Each shipment comprised one large main unit measuring 674 x 406 x 340 cm and weighing 106,335 kilograms, along with four additional spare parts. Given the critical nature of the cargo and strict carrier requirements, detailed engineering calculations were essential to fulfill lashing and securing demands.

Despite the challenges associated with moving such oversized and high-weight freight, both shipments were delivered safely and on schedule to their destination in New Zealand.
