Jan 30, 2025

Destination:
Aue, Germany, to Väröbacka, Sweden

Introduction:
Aprojects GmbH has successfully managed the transport of a 48,000 kg valve skid from Aue, Germany, to Väröbacka, Sweden. The oversized cargo, measuring 20.30 meters in length, 4.45 meters in width, and 3.65 meters in height, was moved using a specialized 4+6-axle semi-lowbed trailer, ensuring safe and efficient delivery across multiple transport modes.

Body:
The logistics operation involved a complex multimodal route, starting with road transport from Aue to Kiel, followed by a ferry crossing from Kiel to Gothenburg, Sweden. From there, the cargo continued via road transport to its final destination in Väröbacka.

The project required meticulous coordination to ensure compliance with regulations and smooth transitions between transport modes. Aprojects GmbH worked closely with local authorities, ferry operators, and on-ground teams to ensure timely delivery.

Kirsten Oltmanns, Sales Manager at Aprojects GmbH, stated: "This successful operation highlights our expertise in handling heavy and oversized cargo. Our team's commitment to precision and efficiency ensures seamless transportation solutions for our clients.”
