The Executive Management Team at UTC Overseas is pleased to announce the promotion of Jim Lange to Vice President, Special Projects.

Since joining UTC in 2011, Jim has played a pivotal role in the continued growth and success of the company's Transformer and Rail, Rigging & Heavy Haul Division. Prior to joining UTC, he held positions across the carrier, EPC, and shipper sectors, bringing a well-rounded perspective and deep industry expertise to the organization.

Through hard work and a hands-on approach, coupled with his technical and commercial expertise, Jim has built a successful track record handling challenging heavy lift projects across the Rail, Power, and Oil & Gas spaces.

In his new role, Jim will provide a strong focus on UTC’s Power Generation sector as the US continues to see unprecedented investment across this category. He will also continue his role in overseeing the growth of the Transformer and Rail, Rigging, and Heavy Vertical.

“Over the last 15 years at UTC, we have faced many different seasons as a company, and we have seen ever-changing markets,” said Lange. “What has remained constant is that UTC has always had some of the greatest talent in the industry and a culture that strives for growth. I am excited for this new opportunity and the challenges ahead, but more importantly, I look forward to continuing my journey in this dynamic industry.”

"Jim's technical knowledge, dedication to our customers, and ability to lead complex projects have made him an integral part of UTC's success," said Matt Loll, Executive Vice President Global Project Development. "His leadership will be instrumental as we continue expanding our capabilities in the power generation sector while strengthening our heavy haul and specialized logistics services."
UTC Overseas is an international freight forwarder and logistics provider headquartered in Houston, Texas, with offices worldwide. Established in 1925, UTC has a long history of professional performance and a proven record of success managing logistics for capital projects and global supply chains.
