XLP member, Precious Prestige Logistics (PPL): Load in/ out solution

In March 2023, PPL completed the transportation of a newly-built, high-speed Catamaran, Austal Hull 425.

The transportation journey started from Austal’s drydock to Dong Xuyen wharf by using SPMT - Self-Propelled Modular Trailer and loaded-in PPL's barge for transportation to Ba Son Shipyard.

Here, PPL carried out the loading-out the SPMT with Austal Hull 425 from the barge to Ba Son wharf and moved to dedicated area for launching.

After launching the Austal Hull 425 at Ba Son shipyard, PPL arranged tugboats to move the vessel back to Dong Xuyen area for final fitting jobs done by Austal.

Specification of Austal Hull 425:

• Weight: 460.5 MT

• LOA 66.87m, beam 15,535m, and draft 19.94m.

• Gross Tonnage: 2,918 MT
