XLP member, Freight Traders ships a replacement power station part from the Mediterranean to New Zealand

Freight Traders Ltd New Zealand was recently tasked to urgently ship another replacement power station part, for a planned power station shut in the Central North Island of New Zealand.

The part was 19.94 L x 1.497 W x 3.044 H and weighed 60 tonne.

It shipped from the Mediterranean to a tran-ship point in Antwerp, Belgium where they combined with Tiel Logistics to arrange urgent transfer, comprising unloading and immediate transport to make sailing in Zeebrugge, Belgium.

The pre-heater was shuttled between ports, fumigated and lifted onto another Mafi trailer for shipment to New Zealand.
