WWPC project experts cooperate for silo movement

Mar 27, 2020

Bolk Transport Gmbh, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Austria cooperated with fellow WWPC member for Germany, LS International Cargo Gmbh to arrange for the moving of two silos from Schärding (AT) to Rozomberok (SK) with their 45 ton capacity vessel bridges.

Project description by a Bolk Transport spokesperson:

Big volume, close to the limit! Just 10 cm ground distance and a total length of 41 meters. Every bump or direction change becomes a challenge. Using our vessel bridges (45 to) our drivers, René and Daniel successfully mastered this cargo. Two silos (29 m x 4,7 x 4,41 m) for a paper mill were delivered safely and undamaged from Schärding (AT) to Rozomberok (SK). 650 kilometers in two nights.
