WCA Worldwide Conference 2025 breaks records for the second consecutive year

Mar 11, 2025

The WCA Worldwide Conference 2025 has once again shattered records, with attendance soaring to an all-time high of 4,700.

As the world’s largest gathering of freight forwarders, the event proved that demand for high-level networking remains stronger than ever.

Now in its 14th year in the current format, the conference brought together 4,700 freight forwarders from 179 countries over 5 days, facilitating invaluable networking, business discussions, and the forging of strategic partnerships. A staggering 80,000+ 1-on-1 meetings were conducted, reinforcing the vision of WCAworld Chairman David Yokeum, who has long championed the idea that face-to-face interactions drive the most impactful business growth. This model continues to enable forwarders to expand their operations exponentially, both in volume and global reach.

Beyond 1-on-1 meetings, attendees benefited from a range of networking formats, including the annual WCAworld Golf Tournament, the WCAworld Football Cup, the dedicated Women’s Networking Event, and insightful plenary sessions designed to help members maximize the benefits of their WCAworld membership.

The conference also set the tone for an exciting year ahead, marking the start of WCAworld’s extensive events calendar, which now boasts over 12 events a year, each tailored to support the diverse needs of network members and their specialized sectors. A key announcement during this year’s event confirmed that the WCA Specialty Logistics Fair held later this year in Dubrovnik will, for the first time, welcome members from WCAworld’s newest network, WCA Live Events & Expo, further demonstrating WCAworld’s ongoing commitment to evolving alongside its members.

Interest in WCAworld’s unique member benefits was at an all-time high, with increased engagement in programs such as the PartnerPay system, the All World Shipping NVOCC, and the industry-leading Gold Medallion Programme, the highest level of financial protection available in the industry.

Reflecting on the continued success of the conference, WCAWorld Chairman David Yokeum stated:

"Each year, I am both proud and humbled to see how my vision for a network of freight forwarders has grown into something truly extraordinary. The sheer scale of business being conducted here speaks volumes about the power of this community. We’re excited to keep growing and long may it continue"
