Voltrans Logistics Vietnam completed urgent shipments from Ho Chi Minh to Canada and US. The cargo was 2,715,000 pieces of surgical mask, which were transported by air and sea. Due to COVID-19, many flights are faced with the situation of offloading at the hub, so the challenge was to decide the airline with routing and transit time that could meet the shipment’s time requirement. Since the scope of work included EXW term, Voltrans had to coordinate with the manufacturer, airport and customs to make sure they can transport the shipment on a flight with the shortest processing time.
Scope of work:
- Term: EXW
- AOL/ POL: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam
- AOD/ POD: Toronto (Canada), Miam (USA)
- Modes of transport: sea and air
- Volume: 2,715,000 pcs of mask (1086 carton boxes)
