Against the backdrop of a historic investment wave reshaping the Gulf Coast, UTC Overseas Inc. and Transoceanic Development LLC are pleased to announce the formation of UTC Transoceanic (“UTC Transo”), a strategic joint venture purpose-built to serve the complex logistics demands of Louisiana’s rapidly expanding energy, power, and industrial infrastructure sector.

Headquartered in New Orleans, UTC Transo brings together two complementary forces: UTC Overseas’ proven track record in global project logistics and customs brokerage, and Transoceanic Development’s vast experience, relationships, and knowledge across Louisiana ports, infrastructure, project facilities, and energy corridors. The result is a fully integrated, end-to-end logistics operation built specifically for the scale and complexity of today’s capital projects: from combined-cycle power plants and LNG expansions to data center infrastructure, renewable fuels, hydrogen production, and carbon capture developments.

The Gulf Coast isn't waiting, and neither is UTC Transo. Brian Posthumus, Executive Chairman & CEO of UTC Overseas, on why the timing is right: “Louisiana is at the forefront of an investment cycle in energy transition, infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing. Our partnership with Transoceanic Development positions us to support our clients and this rapidly growing market, and to do it with the local presence and relationships that these complex projects demand.”

Greg Rusovich, President & CEO of Transoceanic Development, underscored the scale of opportunity the venture is positioned to capture: “With almost $100 billion in CAPEX projects announced over the last 18 months, and another $100 billion in the state’s priority pipeline, our team is ready to support this investment surge. Combining our global reach with local boots on the ground in our great state puts us in the middle of the action. We’ve got excellent relationships and intricate knowledge of Louisiana’s infrastructure, ports, and supply chain to ensure client’s cargoes are delivered on time and under budget. Our team’s sole focus and specialization is on project delivery and execution.”

Marco Poisler, UTC Overseas’ COO of Global Energy & Capital Projects, highlighted what sets UTC Transo apart in a crowded logistics landscape: “This partnership brings together two highly capable organizations with a shared commitment to execution and client service. UTC’s global network, combined with our long-standing experience across the Gulf region, positions us to deliver integrated, end-to-end logistics solutions at scale. Our investment in Louisiana through UTC Transo reflects a deliberate commitment to support the state’s expanding capital project landscape – from energy and infrastructure to advanced manufacturing. We see Louisiana as a critical gateway for global project cargo, and we are excited to strengthen our presence and capabilities to support that growth.”

The venture has drawn strong endorsement from regional economic leadership. Michael Hecht, President and CEO of Greater New Orleans, Inc., cited alignment across all levels of government as a key accelerant: “Louisiana is at a fortuitous moment, with deep experience in exactly the sectors most in global demand, combined with aligned leadership from the Mayor of New Orleans all the way to the President of the United States. UTC Transo is a compelling partnership because there is always a need for local connections when managing global ventures. With the massive scale of projects coming to this region, the demand for a company like UTC Transo is clear."

UTC Transo’s service offering spans the full project logistics spectrum: engineered transport solutions, heavy lift and over-dimensional cargo handling, multimodal transportation, vessel chartering, and comprehensive customs compliance support — all delivered through a unified team with both global reach and local accountability.

As Louisiana cements its position as a hub for energy transition investment and reshored industrial activity, UTC Transo is open for business and actively engaging with project owners, EPC contractors, and developers across the Gulf Coast region.
