Trailer Bridge partners with GenLogs to enhancing freight intelligence for logistics division

Feb 10, 2025

Trailer Bridge, Inc., a full-service transportation provider based in Jacksonville, Florida, announced today its partnership with freight intelligence company GenLogs to support the growth of its Logistics Division. This collaboration leverages GenLogs’ nationwide network of sensors to source capacity, identify shippers, and combat fraud in the trucking industry.

“We are excited to add this new technology platform to our suite of tools, enhancing our ability to deliver solutions and visibility for our customers,” said Eric Masotti, President of Logistics at Trailer Bridge. “GenLogs is a game-changer for the logistics industry. In just a few months, it has helped us tackle fraud, source capacity in hard-to--serve lanes and this is just the beginning.”

Founded in 2023 by former U.S. intelligence officials, Virginia-based GenLogs applies counterterrorism principles to fight fraud in trucking and streamline freight operations. The company’s roadside sensors provide real-time truck data, including U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) and motor carrier (MC) numbers, as well as critical details about the equipment in use.

“Trailer Bridge is among the most forward-leaning transportation providers we have had the privilege to support,” said GenLogs CEO, Ryan Joyce. “Their investment in GenLogs means current and prospective customers of Trailer Bridge can have confidence that their freight will be handled with the highest levels of security and service.”

GenLogs also offers visibility into the inbound and outbound lanes of more than 500,000 shippers across North America. “Our team is leveraging this data to grow our customer base while keeping our carrier partners’ assets moving efficiently,” added Masotti.

“This partnership is about harnessing the power of people and technology to transform logistics,” said Mitch Luciano, CEO of Trailer Bridge. “There will always be a need for the human element in the supply chain, but empowering individuals with the data and insights GenLogs provides delivers the best of both worlds.”

Founded in 1991 by industry pioneer Malcom McLean, Trailer Bridge began with a focus on the Puerto Rican trade lane offering consistent weekly barge service. Since expanding into domestic transportation in 2012, the company’s Logistics Division has grown to include full truckload, intermodal shipping, cross-border solutions, and drayage. Recent expansions include an international shipping and freight forwarding division and a government services division. Today, Trailer Bridge has a global presence with locations in the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe.
