TIE Kinetix helps Dutch Ministry of the Interior & Kingdom Relations to advance government-wide e-procurement

Apr 20, 2021

TIE Kinetix announced today that they will support the Dutch Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK) in providing all Dutch Ministries and their suppliers with a next-level supplier portal for e-procurement. In cooperation with NLeyes, a strategic partner in e-procurement and e-delivery, TIE Kinetix will implement a user-friendly supplier portal that is capable of facilitating procure-to-pay automation with all suppliers. The new portal is based on TIE Kinetix’s FLOW Partner Automation platform and will replace the no-longer-suitable DigiInkoop portal currently in use by all Dutch ministries and 15,000 suppliers.

“We’re excited to support the Ministry of the BZK in helping all Dutch ministries to achieve 100% supply chain digitalization in the coming years,” says Jan Sundelin, CEO, TIE Kinetix. “We’re starting to see that more and more government organizations are looking to automate the entire procure-to-pay process, but it’s often the case that this is beyond the capabilities of their current solution. We’re proud to say that, with FLOW, the Ministry won’t run into this issue again.”

The FLOW platform is continuously optimized to meet the ever-evolving needs of TIE Kinetix customers. Furthermore, its flexibility and ease-of-use makes it perfectly suitable for procure-to-pay automation projects of all sizes. These features will directly contribute to an increase in supplier adoption of e-procurement for the Ministry of the BZK, enabling them to surpass 15,000 supplier connections. This will ultimately enable all Dutch ministries to fully realize the vast benefits of digitalization, from process automation and reduced costs to shorter payment cycles and a reduced carbon footprint.

“It is our aim to provide all Dutch ministries and their suppliers with an accessible and easy-to-use supplier portal for e-procurement,” says Erwin Wulterkens, Senior Managing Partner, NLeyes. “All public authorities can greatly benefit from an end-to-end solution that takes their procure-to-pay automation efforts to the next level.”

With proven success in countless e-invoicing implementation projects with both local and international public authorities, TIE Kinetix has made their mark in the business-to-government (B2G) space. As  public authorities continue to search for new digitalization opportunities, TIE Kinetix’s FLOW Partner Automation platform is leading the way. Moreover, the project with the Ministry of the BZK will enable the company to further stimulate supplier e-invoicing by making it easy for them to implement a solution of their own following their connection to the e-procurement portal.
