The Collaborative Company joins AGX Freight

AGX Freight has expanded its brokerage network in the Midwest with the addition of The Collaborative Company, and principal owner Shawn Leonard. The Cedar Rapids firm specializes in expedited and time-sensitive shipments, and becomes the 21st agency to join the AGX network. The agreement between firms also signals the reunion between Leonard and AGX CEO, Mike Williams. The two industry veterans have a history of successfully working together that goes back more than 15 years.

The Collaborative Company is the latest venture for Leonard, a 31-year veteran of the transportation & logistics industry. Leonard started at the age of 19 working for his grandparent’s trucking company based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He started his first business a decade later and has been solving problems for shippers and freight-forwarders ever since.
