Sunday transport of oversized Superheaters by Denholm

Feb 15, 2022

Denholm Project Forwarding, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for the United Kingdom, managed the delivery of a range of out-of-gauge cargo, including four imported superheaters from the start of their UK leg of their journey, where they were transported from Southampton to Newport for a new energy plant.

The low-load trailers were privately escorted on a Sunday afternoon and safely delivered by 7am the following Monday, therefore avoiding a police escort and heavy weekday traffic.   To accommodate transportation on a Sunday, Denholm Project Forwarding also coordinated temporary secure quayside storage.
