Engelbert Strauss, Inc., also known as STRAUSS, and DHL Supply Chain have jointly announced a strategic logistics partnership as the workwear leader expands its U.S. operations and elevates its tailored B2B offerings in North America. The partnership further cements Columbus, Ohio, as the company’s home base in the United States and combines the brand’s workwear personalization expertise with DHL Supply Chain’s logistics and fulfillment capabilities.

Go-Live Marks Major Milestone
After six months of intensive integration work by the joint project team, the new setup went live on June 24, 2026. The first outbound package under the partnership left the DHL hub that same day, marking a major operational milestone for both companies.
Under this partnership, DHL provides comprehensive end-to-end logistics services for STRAUSS, including warehousing, distribution and product personalization. By integrating embroidery and print customization services directly into fulfillment operations from DHL’s distribution center in Columbus, STRAUSS is significantly streamlining order processing, improving turnaround times and delivering a more seamless ordering experience for its business customers. The Columbus hub has the ability to process up to 1.3 million units per year in the current setup, with the ability to flexibly scale to support STRAUSS’s continued growth in the U.S. market.
“We are excited to have DHL Supply Chain as our global logistics partner and be so close to them in our second home,” says STRAUSS COO and Treasurer Matthias Fischer. “Over the past six months, our teams have worked with great commitment to build an integrated setup that is now live and already delivering results. This partnership gives us the ability to provide our customers and business partners with the gear they need and personalize it to their exact requirements faster and more efficiently than ever before.”
One Operation, Faster Fulfillment
The partnership is an important step in STRAUSS’s U.S. growth strategy, positioning Columbus as the central hub of its American operations and creating new opportunities for STRAUSS’s expanding B2B customer base. DHL’s global supply chain expertise and experience serving diverse sectors make them the ideal partner as STRAUSS continues its North American expansion.
By bundling personalization and logistics centrally with one trusted partner, STRAUSS is transforming the B2B workwear ordering experience. The integration of in-house product personalization empowers STRAUSS to offer even greater flexibility—such as small-batch logo branding—and precision in serving business customers.
“As STRAUSS accelerates its expansion in the U.S., DHL Supply Chain is providing the operational backbone to support that growth,” said Patrick Bennett, CFO, DHL Supply Chain North America. “By integrating fulfillment and customization into a single, scalable operation, we’re enabling STRAUSS to expand its footprint with greater speed, efficiency and consistency. This end-to-end supply chain solution ensures they can meet rising demand while delivering the high-quality, personalized workwear their customers expect."
Enhanced B2B Experience in the Pipeline
Later this year, STRAUSS B2B customers in the U.S. will also be able to place customized orders through the brand’s B2B online store, which is currently being outfitted with new functionalities. Once launched, the updated store will give customers a stronger digital ordering experience backed by the company’s established personalization expertise in Europe and DHL’s operational excellence in the United States.
