Mar 12, 2020

President Trump has made the safety, security, and health of the American people his top priority from day one of this Administration. Since the very beginning of the Coronavirus outbreak, the President has taken an unprecedented whole-of-government approach to protect the American people.

After consulting with top government health officials, yesterday the President continued to take decisive action to keep all Americans safe, and as President Trump said, provide the American economy with the flexibility, reserves, and resources to handle any threat that comes our way. The Department of Commerce will continue our support of Americans and our businesses to ensure that our people and our economy will overcome this moment in time.
