Secretary Gina M. Raimondo’s Meeting with Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment of Australia Dan Tehan

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo met with Minister for Trade, Tourism, and Investment of Australia Dan Tehan to discuss opportunities to deepen the U.S.-Australia commercial relationship. During the meeting, Secretary Raimondo discussed President Biden’s interest in working with its partners across the region to establish an Indo-Pacific economic framework that will define and facilitate cooperation on shared objectives across the region and advance resilience, inclusion, sustainability, and the interests of our middle classes. The Secretary and Minister also discussed opportunities to deepen industry linkages and strengthen supply chain resiliency, including for critical minerals.
