Jul 09, 2020

Mortrans  Ltd., member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Russin successfully  performed the transportation  of a pilot boat from Murmansk Port to Yamburg Port, both are at the Arctic area in the North of Russia.

The  pilot  boat  had dimensions of 16,25 x 4,67 x 4,37 meters dimensions and a weight of 30 tons.
It was transported overland from Murmansk to Yamalo-Nenetsky area, located on Arctic coast of West Siberia, a distance over 5000 km.
The experts from Mortrans where responsible for producing cradles, loading of the boat directly  from  water  onto  truck,  installation on produced cradles, issuing of proper permits on federal and private roads and managing of the passing into City Yamburg.
The  main challenge was the absence of actual and correct dimensions of the pilot boat until  the start of loading operations. In fact the boat was higher and more width than informed previously.
