Riege Software and CHAMP Cargosystems expand long-standing partnership

one hour ago

CHAMP Cargosystems and Riege Software have announced the expansion of their long-standing partnership, enhancing shipment visibility through the integration of CHAMP’s Traxon Premium Tracking service into Scope by Riege Software.

Traxon Premium Tracking is CHAMP’s trusted tracking solution delivering complete real-time visibility across import more than 100 airlines, regardless of who issued the Freight Waybill.

Building on a collaboration that dates back to 1994, this latest evolution focuses on delivering improved data coverage, particularly for import shipments, where forwarders have traditionally faced gaps in tracking visibility. By embedding CHAMP’s Traxon Premium Tracking capabilities into the new Airline Messaging Premium feature in Scope, Riege customers benefit from seamless, automated access to timely and reliable shipment status updates.

The integration leverages CHAMP’s global Traxon cargoHUB connectivity to provide consistent, event-based tracking across multiple airlines and stakeholders. This simplifies tracking processes for forwarders, removing the need for complex integrations or manual data collection while enabling a more unified and data-driven approach to shipment management.

Through this enhancement, customers gain broader tracking coverage - particularly for import flows - helping address previous visibility gaps and support more efficient, transparent logistics operations.

“Our partnership with CHAMP has always been centered on delivering practical value to our customers. Integrating Traxon Premium Tracking as a component of our new feature “Airline Messaging Premium” is a game changer. Riege customers can now benefit from comprehensive, real-time, reliable shipment visibility on the airfreight main leg – particularly for import flows where this has been a challenge historically. The integration delivers digital event density in Scope and equips our users with the data they need to automate processes and manage their operations more efficiently and transparently", said Christian Riege, CEO of Riege Software.

Edward Dorr, VP eCargo Portfolio at CHAMP Cargosystems, added, "Our long-standing partnership with Riege reflects a shared commitment to a more connected, data-driven air cargo ecosystem. By integrating Traxon Premium Tracking into the Scope platform, we combine CHAMP’s global connectivity and Riege’s forwarding expertise to deliver more consistent and reliable visibility across the shipment lifecycle. This helps customers reduce complexity and make better-informed decisions based on high-quality data."

The expanded partnership reflects both companies’ continued commitment to offering integrated, data-driven solutions that deliver measurable value to their shared customers.
