Realterm announced the acquisition of an industrial outdoor storage (IOS) property in Hamburg, Germany. The property is currently vacant and available for immediate occupancy, presenting a rare opportunity for occupiers to secure high-quality space in one of Europe’s most supply-constrained logistics markets.
Located on a 56,600-square-meter site in Elmenhorst, a prime industrial submarket of Hamburg, Leineweberring 15 features a 25,620-square-meter facility with 22 dock doors and ample parking. The asset comprises approximately 17,735 square meters of warehouse space, 2,840 square meters of office space, and 5,045 square meters of IOS space, offering a flexible configuration to accommodate a wide range of logistics and outdoor storage uses.
The property benefits from direct access to the A24 motorway, providing seamless connectivity between Hamburg and Berlin, two of Germany’s most important logistics hubs. Its strategic location within a key freight corridor enhances last-mile and regional distribution capabilities for tenants.
“The availability of this asset aligns with strong occupier demand for functional IOS space in core German logistics markets,” said Balazs Lados, Managing Director, European Fund Manager at Realterm. “With immediate occupancy and a highly strategic location, the property is well-positioned to serve logistics operators seeking both indoor and outdoor storage capacity.”
“Assets that combine high-quality warehouse space with meaningful IOS and immediate availability are increasingly difficult to find in Germany,” added Christian Siegmund, Vice President of Investments, DACH at Realterm. “This property offers the flexibility, scale, and connectivity that today’s transportation users require.”
Realterm was advised by BNP Paribas Real Estate on the acquisition. Legal counsel for the buyer was provided by bhp Bögner, Hensel & Partner.
Copeland announced the availability of an integration between its Oversight360 cargo monitoring software and Blue Yonder Network.
