Resource Realty of Northern NJ has welcomed Rylie Lake as its newest sales associate. Since joining the firm late last year, Lake has closed a number of notable transactions including four new leases totaling more than 23,000 square feet, signaling a strong trajectory for both his career and the firm’s expanding regional footprint.
Demonstrating an astute ability to manage complex assignments, Lake recently represented the sub-tenant, an apparel distributor, in a 15,000-square-foot warehouse sublease transaction in Plainfield, N.J.
Additionally, Lake served as the sole broker – acting as both the exclusive listing agent and tenant representative – in a 4,000-square-foot lease at 119-121 S. 15th St. in Newark. The property is serving as the new facility for The Woodworking Co-Op, a prominent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to community crafting and skill-building.
Lake also successfully secured 4,000 square feet of industrial space at 239 6th Ave. in Paterson for a rapidly growing wall panel distributor operating as A Bright Development.
Further demonstrating his versatility across asset types, Lake recently represented a wellness studio in a small office lease transaction in Rockaway, N.J.
“We are thrilled to welcome Rylie to our team,” said Tom Consiglio, RRNNJ’s founding principal. “Rylie’s successes in Northern NJ underscore his deep local market knowledge and a unique ability to seamlessly represent diverse client needs, from non-profit community spaces to industrial distributors. His momentum coming into the firm is a testament to the high level of service he brings to our clients and the RRNNJ team.”
Since entering the commercial real estate field in early 2022, Lake has built a strong reputation for guiding clients across traditional and multi-tiered leasing, acquisitions, dispositions and strategic real estate decisions. While he is licensed in both New Jersey and New York, his client-centric approach has allowed him to successfully facilitate transactions and assist with client requirements in a number of competitive markets, including Florida and Delaware.
Throughout every transaction, Lake remains committed to being highly responsive, detail-oriented and results-driven.
“Joining Resource Realty of Norther New Jersey provides an incredible platform to continue learning, scale my business and deliver tailored, strategic real estate decisions for my clients,” said Lake. “My focus remains on paying meticulous attention to the details, providing personalized client service and driving optimal outcomes.”
Prior to pursuing commercial real estate, Lake established an unconventional yet highly effective foundation for client service. Throughout college, he worked as a licensed fly-fishing guide across the rivers of New York and Pennsylvania. This unique experience strengthened his communication skills, instilled an exceptional level of patience and fostered a strong service-oriented mindset, all of which traits translate well to navigating complex corporate real estate negotiations.
Lake’s professional dedication mirrors his academic excellence. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz, earning a Bachelor of Science in General Business. Upon graduation, he was also honored with the prestigious Academic Award from the SUNY New Paltz School of Business.
According to Consiglio, Resource Realty of Northern New Jersey remains committed to continually expanding its talent base and strengthening its presence across key commercial real estate markets in Northern New Jersey and Southern New York State.
Guided by a culture rooted in integrity, collaboration and long‑term client service, Resource Realty invests in experienced commercial real estate professional as well as those who bring curiosity, drive and a commitment to excellence.
