PS Logistics acquires Patriot Transit and Patriot Logistics

PS Holdco, LLC (“PS Logistics”), announced today that it has purchased all substantial transportation assets of Patriot Transit, LLC, and Patriot Logistics, LLC (“Patriot”), a privately owned interstate trucking and logistics provider that specializes in flatbed shipping io the Gulf Coast and in the Southwest.

Patriot, founded by David Spencer and Rex Ready, is based in Houston, Texas, and maintains a fleet of 75 experienced drivers. Patriot is committed to excellent customer service and has long-term, loyal customers.

The Patriot acquisition continues the PS Logistics acquisition strategy of partnering with families and owners within the flatbed trucking segment. Since 2007, PS Logistics has successfully acquired 22 trucking and brokerage operations. Financial terms of the Patriot transaction were not disclosed. Organizationally, Patriot will be operated by the Blair Logistics, LLC (“Blair”), a subsidiary of PS Logistics, under the leadership of David Spencer, Rex Ready and Jay Bowling, CEO, Blair.
