Oversized winches sail from Singapore to France

Sep 21, 2020

Cargosavvy Pte Ltd, Singapore, member to Priority Cargo Network, successfully moved more than 300 tons of oversized Winches and its supporting units from Singapore to FOS, France by using 8 x 40 Flat Rack units and 4 x 40 OT containers . The Cargosavvy team handled the movement from managing a very carefully supervised cargo collection, deployment of trailers and heavy duty cranes, movement of cargo with Police Escort from the shipper warehouse to yard and to the port, stuffing, heavy duty lashing and chocking of the units approved by Port Authority of Singapore and until the direct loading of the containers to the vessel from trailers.

Cargosavvy’s professional team had to execute this project with a very detailed and precision planning as the shipper warehouse had a very limited space for lifting and loading OOG cargo. Especially during these Covid times where there are lot of restrictions of man power deployment and meeting limitations, Cargosavvy successfully executed this project and in the month of September, the cargo is cleared and delivered to the customer site at final destination.
