As a former part of the commercial team at Wabtec/GE Transportation, Siesenop helped grow their digital optimization business. Prior to Wabtec, he spent 20 years at Norfolk Southern in various operational roles, eventually leading the design and implementation of their rail movement planner. In his new role, Siesenop will lead Optym’s commercialization efforts of rail and mining products.

“As Optym’s rail and mining products are maturing, we have started to focus on sales, marketing, and business development through strategic partnerships,” Optym’s Founder & CEO Ravi Ahuja said. “Andrew has vast experience in this space, both operationally and commercially, and is well connected with companies in Americas, Europe, and Australia. I am confident that under his leadership Optym will become the leading provider of optimization solutions for railroad and mining companies worldwide.”
