MSC Pilotage Service Cost (Export & Import) scope: USA to Brazil / Brazil to USA
Sep 26, 2023On October 15th, 2023, MSC will start identifying the costs of pilotage compulsory services in Brazilian ports in the freight composition through the PSC – Pilotage Service Cost.
Scope: to cover costs arising from the compulsory hiring of Pilotage services in Brazil.
Freight Payment Conditions: subject to the O/F and following freight terms either PREPAID, COLLECT or ELSEWHERE
Amounts: per container duly described below:
The initiative to identify these costs aims to contribute to transparency and comes from discussions over the years on the subject and its impacts on costs.
