Panama Canal Surcharge from WCSA to USA

Effective April 7th, 2021 (Gate In Date)

Following recent “advisory” from the Panama Canal Authority in which is reported a further reduction in the draft for the Neopanamax Locks, MSC is reinstating the PCE surcharge to maintain service level. 

From: All WCSA origins (for Dry and Reefer cargo)

To: USEC and US Gulf ports 

  • USD 15 per TEU 

Panama Canal Emergency Surcharge from USWC to ECSA (BR/AR/UY/PY)

Effective April 8th, 2021

Following the latest official advisory from the Panama Canal Authorities concerning the ‘’Maximum Authorized Draft for Neopanamax Locks’’, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company will resume the PCE surcharge effective from April 8th, 2021.

From: US West Coast Ports

To: Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay & Paraguay
