CEVA Logistics and BYD Group have signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Marseille, solidifying their long-term partnership in global automotive logistics. To mark the occasion, BYD presented CEVA with its 'Best Carrier of the Year 2026' award, recognizing the logistics company’s exceptional service and automotive logistics expertise.

The new MOU builds on a strong foundation, further deepening their joint collaboration and implementing tailored end-to-end logistics solutions for BYD’s continued global expansion. The cooperation will encompass route planning, capacity allocation, warehousing and distribution, customs coordination, localized operations, as well as end-to-end delivery management and the advancement of low carbon logistics solutions. The partnership leverages the strong alignment between BYD’s presence across six continents and more than 100 countries and CEVA’s global network, local expertise and end-to-end logistics capabilities.

This expanded cooperation comes as BYD’s international strategy transitions from finished vehicle exports to a broader global manufacturing network. CEVA has scaled its support in line with BYD’s growing needs, including finished vehicle logistics, inbound manufacturing logistics, overseas distribution, after-sales services and plant supply continuity. Leveraging its global network and local execution capabilities, CEVA supports BYD in strengthening local supply chains for localized production and expanding operations across automotive, battery, energy storage and automotive electronics.

The “Best Carrier of the Year” award, presented by He Zhiqi, Executive Vice President of BYD Group and Chief Operating Officer of BYD Auto, recognizes CEVA’s consistent performance, service reliability and operational agility in supporting BYD’s global logistics operations. It further underscores both companies' shared growth ambitions heading into the second half of the year.

Mathieu Friedberg, Chief Executive Officer, CEVA Logistics, said: “BYD’s recognition marks an important milestone in our long-standing partnership and is a strong endorsement of the trust built through consistent operational excellence. As mobility and energy transition accelerate globally, resilient, sustainable and locally responsive supply chains are becoming a critical enabler of growth. CEVA Logistics is proud to partner with BYD to advance future-ready automotive logistics through sustainable and innovative solutions across the globe.”

He Zhiqi, Executive Vice President of BYD Group and Chief Operating Officer of BYD Auto, said: “As BYD accelerates its global expansion, strengthening global manufacturing capabilities and advancing localized production are essential to driving sustainable growth in international markets. CEVA Logistics has proven to be a trusted partner, consistently supporting our high standards for quality, reliability and operational excellence, while helping us advance our commitment to being ‘in local, for local.’ We look forward to further deepening our partnership to build more resilient and locally responsive supply chains.”
