
MOSOLF Port Logistics & Services GmbH (MPLS), part of the globally active MOSOLF Group, has partnered with Bahri, Saudi Arabia’s national shipping company, and TASARU Mobility Investments (TASARU), a fully owned investment company of the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), to establish a groundbreaking joint venture (JV). This strategic collaboration is poised to revolutionize automotive logistics in Saudi Arabia by creating a holistic supply chain ecosystem that spans from port arrival to final delivery, whether to dealers or end customers. Officially retroactive to 1 January 2025, the partnership was formally celebrated at the PIF Forum in Riyadh on 12. February 2025.
This joint venture highlights the strategic importance of the MOSOLF Group within the global automotive logistics sector. By expanding port activities and introducing state-of-the-art hinterland logistics in Saudi Arabia, MOSOLF is setting a new benchmark in the industry. Manufacturers and importers in the region will soon have access to a full-service package: from port handling and technical services to storage and final delivery. These offerings will cover passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, and trucks. To support seamless regional distribution, a robust fleet of specialized automotive transporters will also be developed.

Strategic Locations and Innovative Services
Together with its partners, MOSOLF plans to develop strategically located logistics centers in Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam. These hubs will offer a wide array of services, including pre-delivery inspections (PDI), vehicle cleaning, painting, storage, and more. This initiative will establish a high-performance and future-ready logistics network, unparalleled in the region.
Wilhelmshaven as a Global Hub
This collaboration not only unlocks opportunities within Saudi Arabia but also strengthens Wilhelmshaven’s position as a vital international logistics hub. Through its partnership with Bahri Logistics, Wilhelmshaven will be further developed as a key center for global automotive shipments. MPLS will assume a pivotal role in the global supply chain for ocean-bound vehicle transport, reinforcing its position as an integral part of the MOSOLF Group.
