MMA member, Bergé Freight Forwarding executes complex mobile crane shipment

Aug 27, 2025

Bergé Forwarding, a member of the Mega Move Alliance (MMA), recently coordinated the complex shipment of two mobile cranes aboard an open deck vessel under challenging conditions. The operation demonstrated the company’s expertise in project logistics and ability to execute precise and reliable cargo handling even during holidays and local festivities.

One crane required tandem lifting using two mobile cranes due to quay constraints, while the other was loaded via standard rolling procedure. The operation was completed accurately and efficiently, reflecting the company’s high standards in planning and execution.

The successful shipment was made possible through close collaboration between the shipowner, stevedores, and technical staff, highlighting the importance of teamwork in complex project cargo operations.
