Lineage Logistics implements Trinium-TMS

Lineage Logistics, one of the world’s largest and most dynamic companies in temperature-controlled logistics, has recently deployed Trinium-TMS to manage its container drayage operations across its network of dispatch terminals in the U.S.  Trinium Technologies, part of the WiseTech Global Group, is a leading provider of enterprise software to intermodal trucking and container drayage companies.

After a lengthy evaluation process, Lineage Logistics selected Trinium-TMS to manage its Lineage Drayage division, a multi-terminal container drayage operation.  The deployment was completed in early 2021 as part of the company’s strategy to automate its business processes on a single dray-centric TMS with proven scalability.  “As we assessed the various options on the market, our team came to the conclusion that Trinium provided the best depth of container drayage functionality and domain expertise”, said Carla Silveira, Vice President of Logistics at Lineage.

Lineage uses a broad scope of functionality from Trinium including the mobile app for drivers, Trinium MC3 to automate and digitize the driver experience.  Drivers can now complete their daily tasks directly from their mobile phones or tablets which includes dispatch automation and electronic proof of delivery capabilities.  The mobile app also provides dispatchers and customers with improved visibility through GPS tracking and geofencing.  “We’ve seen a definite trend with our customers to digitize their operations, especially with their drivers.  Lineage has been a strong proponent of this during the implementation process”, said Dennis Lane, Managing Director at Trinium Technologies.

Other aspects of the Trinium deployment at Lineage include automated container tracing with Trinium Availability Manager and improved customer visibility and data sharing via EDI, API’s, automated reporting and notifications, and a customer web portal.
