Banyan’s over-the-road mode expansion paves the way for record growth in 2022

Feb 22, 2023

Banyan Technology, the leading provider of freight management software for real-time rating and execution of all over-the-road (OTR) shipments, has announced record growth in 2022, adding 2x more clients than in any year prior.

“This year’s record growth is exciting not just for Banyan, but for our Clients and Partners as well due to the opportunities it will present to us in the coming year,” said Brian Smith, CEO of Banyan Technology. “The collaborative effort between our current clients, partners and team members to create a system that meets and responds to the changing needs of the industry has led us down a path to success and we are excited about where we are headed.”

Banyan’s strategy to develop more platform capabilities and expanded solutions for all OTR modes has fueled the surge in client growth. The company’s patented LIVE Connect™ platform is the industry’s only OTR multi-mode on-screen solution, giving clients the ability to rate, compare and execute shipments from a single screen.

To help solidify the relationship with new and valued existing clients, Banyan launched its inaugural users conference, Connect 2022, in October of last year. The event provided clients with personalized face-to-face time with Account Managers and onboarding specialists, provided specialized product-based training sessions and valuable networking opportunities. Several well-known brands and industry sponsors participated in the conference, which Banyan plans on hosting again in September.

“Creating a hands-on learning environment for our clients to engage the LIVE Connect platform and learn first-hand about our new products and featured mode capabilities helped solidify the knowledge and created valuable, lasting support relationships,” said Megan Varney, Chief Product Development and Client Experience Officer for Banyan Technology. “The event established a foundation of knowledge that can’t be replaced and provided more powerful insight into new tools that will provide further direction into 2023.”

Banyan’s 2023 product roadmap includes further integration to support the platform’s multi-mode capabilities, including the ability to combine LTL shipments into one Truckload through Load Consolidation resources, international parcel shipping solutions and in-depth Lane Analysis for all OTR modes.
