Kidder Mathews has appointed David Mastro as Senior Vice President and Market Leader for the firm’s Asset Services division in Southern California. Mastro brings more than 35 years of experience in commercial real estate asset management and operations to his new role.
As Market Leader, Mastro will oversee a portfolio exceeding 8.5 million square feet across the region, directing property management operations and partnering with clients to implement value-driven strategies. He will also focus on expanding the firm’s regional presence and leading high-performing teams to deliver best-in-class service.

Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, Mastro held leadership positions at LDKV Management and The Buzz Oates Group of Companies, where he oversaw portfolios of up to 11.5 million square feet. He is widely respected for his collaborative approach, mentorship, and ability to drive asset performance across a wide range of property types including industrial, office, retail, medical, and land.
Mastro has served on the Board of Directors for the Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) Sacramento and BOMA California, including terms as Chapter President and President, as well as Co-Chair of BOMA International’s Industrial Committee. He also served on the board of the California Business Properties Association (CBPA).
